Profética

Profética is the dream of any bohemian –in fact, we would go as far as to say that it is anyone’s dream: bookstore, library, cafeteria, and bar, all in a 16th Century house located in the center of Puebla. This project, which came about to encourage reading in 2003, and since then it has become one of the most important cultural spaces in the city.

The breakfasts here are a must at the weekend, and their menu contains an exquisite selection of Mexican food, curated by the well renowned chef Fernando Hernández. There is always someone drinking a coffee or a beer, reading a booking or chatting. If you stay a little later you can order a mescal, or two, or three –you see? Not for nothing is it a local favorite.
