Since it was founded, the local university Universidad de las Américas Puebla has channelled its energy into supporting the arts through the careers of its professors and, of course, students. Since 2010, the former have had their own space to get their work known: Cultura UDLAP, which is focused on promoting the artistic activity of the students of Cultural Promotion, as well as projects from the UDLAP Arts Department. What started out as a student project is now a platform for the biggest talents to show their work and process.
